It's always a strange moment when you realize that not only do you no longer enjoy the same things you used to enjoy, you don't even miss them.

Wow, Diane, beautiful heartfelt authenticity and vulnerability, but also your confidence, contentedness and love of so much that really matters. Inspirational to me, as I think our paths have drifted and then met up again, thank you my friend xx

Happy belated birthday! Welcome to 64! I've been here a few months, but I never thought of the Beatles song until reading this, but now that you mention it... Now it's stuck in my head, but that's okay, if it wasn't, something else would be and might not be as good. Thank you for that!

We were so YOUNG at 34. I feel more comfortable being older, and (hopefully) a bit more wiser. This was an excellent essay!

Thank you. And happy being 64 too. A good bit of Beatles is good for anyone :)

I must say I so loved becoming 60. Definitely my favourite decade. I feel more comfortable with who I am, more sure of who I am, more secure. Ok I've got less energy but I do enjoy doing less too. I no longer feel like I'm having to do and can say No to things.
